Step #1: Create An Account

First, go to Kartra's official website to create your account.

Kartra gives a 14-day trial for first-time users. But you will have to pay $1 to access Kartra's trial offer. However, we partnered with Kartra to give our readers a 30-day trial instead of the standard 14-day trial.

Step #2: Create A list 

Once you’ve created your account, the next thing to do is to create a list. A list is your collection of email addresses or phone numbers belonging to individuals or businesses who have opted-in to receive your marketing messages, updates, or newsletters.

You do this from the Kartra dashboard by clicking on “Communications.” Then on the next page, click “Lists” on the dropdown when you hover over “Leads” on the top menu.

It will bring up a popup menu where you will fill in your list’s name and public description. Fill out the form, click “Next,” and that’s how easy it is to create your list in Kartra.


Step #3: Create An Opt-in Form 

With the use of an opt-in form, prospective clients can join your mailing list. You can create a form in Kartra by clicking "`Forms" in the left side menu, then clicking the "Forms" button with the plus icon at the bottom left of the screen.

It will bring up a popup menu asking for the name of your form. Input an appropriate name for your form and click “Create.” And that’s how to create an opt-in form in Kartra. 

Here, you get to select and rearrange the fields on your form. For example, do you only require my name and email? Or do you want to supplement the information you get with a city and a phone number? Of course, you may always change how your opt-in form appears after configuring it in the Pages part of the Kartra platform.


Step #4: Set up Your Payment System 

This is for your customers so they can pay you for your products and services. With this, you can integrate your site with a third-party payment processor.

Note that any account you want to integrate with Kartra is the app they accept, and you must be a business account. So if you're integrating with Paypal, your PayPal must be a business account.

Kartra supports direct integration with Stripe, Authorize.Net, Braintree, PayPal, and Square. To continue, click “Integrations” on the sidebar menu and choose the platform you want to integrate with Kartra.

Step #5: Create Your Product 

Creating your product is one of the most important things to do when starting your Kartra account, especially if you plan to use Kartra to collect payments and sell your products and services.

To do this, click “Products,” then tap the green + button to add your product. After adding your products, click the green confirm button to save them to the Kartra system.

What is Kartra Pricing?

Kartra has four pricing plans: Starter, Silver, Gold, and Platinum. Each of these plans is billed monthly or annually.

#1. Starter Plan 

As the name implies, the Kartra Starter plan is for a start-up online business or businesses that want to improve their marketing strategy and online presence.

For features, Kartra offers a helpdesk; Kajabi doesn't offer one, you'd have to install a third-party plugin. Likewise, Kartra doesn't offer blog features, but Kajabi allows you to create blogs.

After using both softwares and checking out reviews, Kartra beats Kajabi regarding features, pricing, reliability, efficiency, and ease of use.


Kartra Vs. GoHighLevel
