About Passive Secrets

At the time, I didn’t even know how to write, and to be honest…

I hated it.

Plus, I was living in a country with extremely poor infrastructure and next to zero power supply…

The unemployment rate kept rising yearly, with millions falling into poverty every year because of bad government.

Content writing was the best way I saw out through internet marketing as I was ashamed of the videos I created (my mindset).

After graduating, I focused on starting my own online business to earn dollars online as I thought this was the best way to stay above the heavy inflation rate in my country.

All I wanted was to create passive income online so I could spend more time with my loved ones and focus on giving them a better life than I had.

Plus, starting an online business would allow me to work from home or travel the world if I choose and give me a way out of Nigeria.

So I started searching online for a solution.

• I watched YouTube videos on the topic.
• I jumped on different sales webinars (just for the content)
• I read internet marketing and online business blogs
• I listened to Podcasts
• I asked around in online forums and Facebook communities.

Unfortunately, I only had a small amount of cash I had saved up from the university…

Plus, was this how I would end up after all the money my parents spent to send me to school?

I so much did not want my family to feel disappointed and ashamed of me.

With all the free information I was consuming, I kept seeing a recurring clue of how people were building a successful online business.

They were all selling a product through a sales funnel.

Be it:

• E-commerce products
• Information products
• Software products
• BSB products

But, all the free info I got wasn’t enough as people kept pitching different programs and courses to me everywhere I looked.

It even felt worse not to be able to afford them as their price kept increasing.

I couldn’t even implement the free stuff because of my situation.

I felt stuck.

Then one day, I met a friend on Facebook who introduced me to this special community of people that were calling themselves Funnel Hackers.

He goes ahead to tell me about a free training from the creator of the community called Affiliate Bootcamp (now Affiliate Bootcamp Summit) and sends me the link.

And that’s where I met Russell Brunson.

I went through the free training and thought to myself, “why is this guy giving out all this information for free?”

In one of the videos, Russell mentions something that was so powerful. He said:

“If you don’t have cash flow, you don’t have a business.”

He goes ahead to explain the concept of a value ladder and says that the best way to generate constant cash flow in your business is by having a recurring subscription-based product in your business.

For example, membership sites and software products are both subscription-based products.

Then it hit me…

That’s how whole online passive income works.

And I decided I was going to create a subscription-based product.

But I didn’t really know what I wanted to create or even start with.

• I didn’t feel like an expert to create an information product
• I didn’t have enough money to start an e-commerce business
• I didn’t know how to code software nor the money to buy one

I became so confused.

Then I remembered something my father once told me.

He said:

“If you have a valuable skill, you can never go broke.”

So I shifted my focus to first learning the skills I need to be successful online.

I will do this by becoming an affiliate for the programs and services that had impacted my life so far.

So I became an affiliate for Russell Brunson’s courses and ClickFunnels.

And I started to see some success.

But as my income grew, I realized I didn’t want to tie all my income to just one product.

I wanted multiple streams of passive income.

So I started searching for other products and services online similar to ClickFunnels.

And other courses that teach people how to start an online business using sales funnel or the principles Russell Brunson teaches.

Because I had to read reviews online before buying these products…

That’s where I discovered that most blogs in the online marketing space don’t really care about the product they promote.

• Most of them produce biased product reviews.
• Some of them produce wack content with no expertise.
• Most of them hardly even update their content. 
• And none of them offer any form of personal support to their readers.

I became so frustrated and starting buying and testing the products I found online.

Then, I decided to start this platform called Passive Secrets.

• At first, I wrote some ClickFunnels tutorials just to help the Funnel Hacking community that has so much impacted my life.
• I decided to help more people by providing extra value and personal support in form of bonuses that I know you deserve.
• I also focus on giving honest reviews of the various online marketing solutions to help you make better decisions online and save you time.
• Then, I constantly update my content to give you the most current and best information out there.

My goal is to give you access to the best tools and resources out there to help you create online passive income systems so you can have more time to focus on serving your customers, growing your business, and making an impact.

Since creating Passive Secrets:

• I have become a better writer
• I have learned some skills I need to be successful online.
