Although, GoHighLevel is an all-in-one sales funnel builder and marketing automation platform that gives you all the functionality and tools you need to generate more leads and close more sales online. It isn’t the perfect solution.

To be honest, to cancel your account with GoHighLevel is quite a process, unlike some other platforms where it just takes one or two clicks, and that’s it.

With GoHighLevel, you will have to click a few buttons, fill out a form, then even wait a few minutes for the GoHighLevel support team to process your request.

However, I found the whole process of canceling your GoHighLevel account to be quite easy.

The good thing is that GoHighLevel gives you two options and I will illustrate both in this post. The are:

How to Cancel GoHighLevel Account

Here’s how to cancel your GoHighLevel account, step by step:

• Login to your GoHighLevel account or access your GoHighLevel dashboard.
• Click on “Settings” at the bottom left of the dashboard.
• In the Settings dashboard, click on “Billing” on the left-hand menu.
• Once on the Billing page, click on “click here” just below the account type image.
• On the next page, click on the “Cancel” button.
• Then, select the reason why you want to cancel your account or just click “Other.”
• On the next page, scroll down and click on “Cancel Now”.
• Fill out the form on the next page and click on “Confirm Cancellation”.
• Your account will be deactivated in under 24 hours.

Let me illustrate and show you how to do it so you can follow along. I condensed them down into just 3 steps:

Step 1: Go To The Billing page in Settings

The first thing to do is to go to the Billing page in Settings. Here is how to get to this page:

• Login to your GoHighLevel account or access your GoHighLevel dashboard by clicking here.

• Once inside your GoHighLevel account, click on “Settings” or the Gear icon at the bottom left of your GoHighLevel dashboard.

• When inside the Settings dashboard, Click on “Billing” on the left side dashboard.

That will take you to the Billing page where you will start the process of canceling or pausing your GoHighLevel account.

Step 2: Start the process to cancel your GoHighLevel account

Once inside the Billing page in Settings, locate the text just below the account type image. The text tells you the date GoHighLevel will automatically charge your account.

On that text, locate the last 2 words in the sentence. It should be “click here”. Click on “click here”. That should take you to a page where you will start the process of canceling your GoHighLevel account.

Step 3: Cancel your GoHighLevel account

After clicking the link, it should take you to a page with options to either:

• Upgrade your subscription plan
• Downgrade your subscription plan
• Get more days to try out HighLevel
• Put your HighLevel account on hold
• Cancel your HighLevel subscription

Here, we will click on “Cancel your Subscription” as that is what want we want to do.

On the next page, GoHighLevel is going to apologize for seeing you go. But they will want to know your reason for canceling.

You can select any option, or just click on “Other”.

On the next page, scroll down to the bottom of the page, and click on “Cancel Now”.

It will take you to a form. Fill out the form using the email and phone number attached to the GoHighLevel account you want to cancel and leave your feedback.

Once you are done filling out the form, click on “Confirm Cancellation”.

That will take you to a confirmation page. Typically, a GoHighLevel will reach out to you in under 24 hours to let you know the status of your request. And your GoHighLevel account will be deactivated.

But on the confirmation page, GoHighLevel will tell you to give them 72 hours to process your request, and 5-7 days for any refunds to be credited back.

How To Pause Your GoHighLevel Account

Here’s how to pause your GoHighLevel account, step by step:

1. Login to your GoHighLevel account or access your GoHighLevel dashboard.
2. Click on “Settings” at the bottom left of the dashboard.
3. In the Settings dashboard, click on Billing on the left-hand menu.
4. Once on the Billing page, click on “click here” just below the account type image.
5. On the next page, click on the “Pause” button.
6. Then, fill out the form on the next page and click on “Confirm Pause Request”.
