I love the idea of having CRM and marketing automation in a sales funnel builder. That’s one of the reasons why I am happy using GoHighLevel for now, as ClickFunnels only provides email/SMS marketing automation at the Platinum level or higher. Plus, ClickFunnels doesn’t even have a CRM.

In fact, GoHighLevel’s CRM is the best I have seen in a sales funnel software. GoHighLevel’s CRM can even be compared to other powerful CRM-focused platforms like Hubspot and Pipedrive, and come out as the winner.

Best Part #5: GoHighLevel’s Mobile Application

If there’s one thing that sets GoHighLevel apart from the competition, it is GoHighLevel’s mobile application.

The GoHighLevel mobile application gives you access to use some of GoHighLevel’s features on the go like:

• Get a dashboard report that shows an overview of your opportunities, pipelines, and conversion rates
• View, reply and manage your conversations with your contacts on the go (this includes your email, text, Facebook, and Google My Business messages)

I love GoHighLevel’s mobile application because it lets me reply to leads that use my desktop chat widget even when I am not on my desktop computer. I also use the software to make phone calls with the app.

Best Part #6: GoHighLevel is constantly improving

While I’m a big ClickFunnels fan, there haven’t been any major updates or new features to the platform for a while. Even the ClickFunnels’ WordPress plugin hasn’t been updated for over 6 years.

That’s not the case with GoHighLevel. They seem to add more features every single year. For example, the Workflow builder is a recently added feature introduced in 2021. Below is a picture of a new feature they recently added this year:

It’s always important to know that a software platform that you are heavily invested in is actively being improved and updated.

And GoHighLevel does this for sure.

What I Don’t Like About GoHighLevel

Downside #1: GoHighLevel’s Funnel Builder is subpar

Though, you don’t necessarily need to know how to code to use GoHighLevel’s funnel builder to create webpages and funnels.

However, I found GoHighLevel’s visual page editor to be quite basic and subpar. As much as you can drag and drop, there are only a few templates.

It is very similar to the ClickFunnels page editor and makes me feel like GoHighLevel copied ClickFunnels as ClickFunnels launched a lot earlier than GoHighLevel.

The good part is that the page editor in GoHighLevel is laid out in sections that can have any number of rows and columns. All you do is use your mouse to drag elements around and place them where you want them to be.

The truth is:

You can build lots of stuff with GoHighLevel, like websites, marketing funnels, lead forms, surveys, and memberships. But if you really want more sophisticated designs, you would have to have a little knowledge of CSS or hire a funnel designer to handle it for you.

Downside #2: Few GoHighLevel Integrations

One of the things I look out for when it comes to selling products and services online is different ways to collect payments. This is another downside of GoHighLevel, as you can currently only integrate Stripe to receive payments online.

A Look Inside My GoHighLevel Account

Once you log in to your GoHighLevel account, you will first see the dashboard that shows an overview of your business performance. Here you will see graphs and data referring to opportunities, pipelines, and conversion rates.

On the top right of your GoHighLevel dashboard, you can easily dial up a phone number or check your unread messages. GoHighLevel’s features are grouped into categories or sections on the left side of the dashboard.

Let’s explore some of the sections:

#1: Conversations: 

This is where you can see all the conversations and interact, nurture, track, and close your leads across various channels, including: 

• Emails
• Text messages
• Facebook messages
• Instagram messages
• Google My Business Profile

#2. Opportunities:

The Opportunities section helps you manage your leads and pipeline deals. Here, you can track all kinds of opportunities, including lead nurture flows and sales flows.

#3. Calendar:

GoHighLevel has an inbuilt appointment booking tool that’s kind of like Calendly but better. Better because you can collect everything with a sales funnel and automatically add your clients to a notification campaign all in GoHighLevel.

Here, you can manage your integrated Google calendar or Microsoft Outlook calendar. You can also add, edit, or reschedule your appointments made with your CRM calendars.

#4. Automation:

This feature lets you set up marketing automations and sequences using a “workflow builder”. You can also edit your emails and text messages right from inside here. You can create robust marketing automation by connecting different actions into sequences, such as sending texts and emails to new leads or current customers.

An important thing to know is that you would need to integrate with Twilio or Mailgun to call and send SMS messages with GoHighLevel.

#5: Sites:

This is where you will find GoHighLevel’s funnel builders. Here, you can create websites, landing pages, and sales funnels to collect payments online. It also lets you easily split test your sales funnels, just like ClickFunnels, plus you can also import your funnels from ClickFunnels directly into GoHighLevel with a few clicks.

You can also create lead forms, surveys, and free or paid membership sites for your online courses. With GoHighLevel’s membersite site software, you can upload an unlimited amount of videos, enroll an unlimited number of users, and create an unlimited amount of products and offers.

Here is where you can create a chat widget to add to your website so you can engage with your website visitors, generate leads and reply to prospects that visit your site and funnels.

#6. Reputation:

This GoHighLevel feature helps you send out review forms and requests. You can collect and manage all your Google and Facebook reviews from here and use them in your marketing campaigns to attract new clients.

#7. Reporting:

To use this feature, you must integrate GoHighLevel with your Facebook and Google ad accounts. This lets you see and monitor your analytics and conversion rates inside GoHighLevel.

You can also see your call, attribution, and appointment reports.

So with all these amazing features, what’s the cost?

Go High Level Pricing Plans:

The pricing on GoHighLevel’s homepage and when you try to upgrade your account inside the GoHighLevel is different.

This caused a bit of confusion, so I had to investigate further. I covered everything in my GoHighLevel pricing guide.

In short, GoHighLevel pricing comes in 3 plans:
